Projects: Jesees: Traditional Saudi Wedding Singers

The tradition of the Jesees predates Islam and consists of a singer who comes in with the groom singing songs with accompanying drummers. Later in the ceremony the singer will recite poetry in front of the men (Saudi weddings are completely segregated) wishing him prosperity and strength.
